Planning Approval Granted: Bramley Close, Bramhall

Last week saw the issuing of the approval notice for our proposals on Bramley Close in Stockport. The site held multiple historic planning refusals and had numerous constraints making the 2 dwelling proposal deceptively challenging. Working with our client, we designed a scheme which balanced the planning authorities impact concerns with the commercial realities of the development. After succeeding at local committee we now have an approval and are moving towards commencing construction works later this year.

‘It was great to work with Niemen Architects on this scheme. They brought new ideas and a fresh perspective to the proposals. Meeting the planning authorities concerns while keeping a grip on the commercial aspects of the scheme was the key to the success. I look forward to working on the next stage of the scheme with them.’

Summer Party 2019

Niemen Architects Summer Party

Whilst we may have been a little bit hampered by the (torrential) rain, our first Summer Garden Party has been a great success, and we all had a great time welcoming our colleagues and friends to The Waterscape last Friday.

A very special thank you has to go out to Kirkstall Brewery for providing the bar with plenty of Virtuous and Veltins to go around, along with The Pizza Guy for providing some excellent slices of pizza for our guests, and Green Valley Marquees for saving the day by providing shelter at the eleventh hour, which was most definitely needed as it turned out! True to it’s name, we were well and truly struck by a British Summer, and we thank everyone who braved the rain and joined in on a very successful afternoon! On hand to keep a record of the afternoon was Amanda Manby Photography, who kindly photographed the event over the course of the day, so please take a look at further images of the afternoon by clicking on the link below.
