We are pleased to announce a new appointment to the team as Chartered Architect, Scott Lunn joins the Practice. With 20 years of experience, Scott will be joining us at Associate Director level, strengthening our client offer and service.
Having worked on an array of projects and sectors as lead designer, Scott is experienced in all aspects of project delivery. Recent experience has seen Scott deliver numerous facilities for local authorities, universities, and the Department for Education. Working with a major supermarket retailer for several years, Scott developed masterplan designs to unlock sites and gain planning permission for several large-scale mixed-use developments. Scott also designed the masterplan for a flagship city centre expansion and regeneration development, with a value of up to 1 billion pounds.
Speaking with Scott he said ‘I am excited and pleased to be joining Niemen Architects. I hope to share my knowledge and experience with the team to bolster what the practice offers. It will be great to revitalise and reconnect with my industry contacts as well as developing relationships with the Practice’s existing clients.’
Scott is accomplished in delivering projects using Autodesk Revit to the required BIM standards. We will be looking to strengthen the office knowledge base in this area to allow us to raise the level of service we can offer our clients.

We are delighted to announce the reserved matters planning submission for our mixed use scheme located off York Road, Easingwold.
The scheme includes a Petrol Filling Station & Convenience Store unit and Medical Centre which sit alongside the proposed residential development of 80 homes.
Whilst we may have been a little bit hampered by the (torrential) rain, our first Summer Garden Party has been a great success, and we all had a great time welcoming our colleagues and friends to The Waterscape last Friday.

for providing the bar with plenty of Virtuous and Veltins to go around, along with The Pizza Guy
for providing some excellent slices of pizza for our guests, and Green Valley Marquees
for saving the day by providing shelter at the eleventh hour, which was most definitely needed as it turned out! True to it’s name, we were well and truly struck by a British Summer, and we thank everyone who braved the rain and joined in on a very successful afternoon!
